Hello friends! With Labor Day just days away I want to share some tasty goodness with you. I am taking you from Fashion to Fork with my favorite Grilled Sweet Corn recipe

Whether you are hosting at home or going to a friends, grilled sweet corn is always a crowd favorite. I mean, have you ever heard of someone NOT liking corn? I'll answer for you: no. Because how could you not like corn! Not only is this recipe SO tasty, it's also extremely easy to prepare.

Now let's get cookin', friends. Here's what you'll need:

  • 6 ears of corn

  • chili powder

  • salt

  • pepper

  • cilantro

  1. Start by husking your corn. This is a personal preference, but I like to leave half of the husk on the corn so I can have one side charred. The husk can also act as a convenient little handle while eating!

  2. Throw your corn on the grill for about 5 to 8 minutes on high until it is slightly charred/browned

  3. Remove them from heat and place on a large white platter, like this one from Crate & Barrel (I linked a few more below!)

  4. Sprinkle on some salt, pepper and chili powder to taste. and garnish with a handful of chopped cilantro, and voila!

If you're really trying to spice things up, you can add a creamy Mexican spread to make Mexican Street Corn! Here's what you'll need:

  • 4 tbsp. mayo

  • 4 tbsp. sour cream

  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (you can also use Cotija cheese!)

  • 1 lime

  1. Just mix the mayo and sour cream together in a bowl. (I love these little mixing bowls from Crate & Barrel! I use them all the time when I make dressings and salads.)

  2. Next you'll rub the mayo and sour cream mixture on with a pastry brush (like this one).

  3. Coat your corn with cheese and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chili powder!

  4. Finally, squeeze a slice of lime over your corn for some extra flavor.

Although I love Labor Day, it also marks the end of summer and I am just not ready for that! You’ll find me wearing only jean shorts and off the shoulder tops until it is socially unacceptable...LOL! I linked some of my favorite denim + gingham combos below.

Soak up the last days of summer, my dears, and have a safe holiday weekend!
